* Verification of current certification in CPR is a prerequisite for enrollment in all clinical courses. The certification must cover both choking and CPR for infants, children and adults including two-rescuer for children and adults. Currently called "healthcare provider" by the American Heart Association and "professional recsuer" by the American Red Cross.
HST 3120 American Red Cross Instructor (4 credits) may be taken in place of this elective. Completion of this course will also provide students with the valid certification for Two-Man Rescue or Health Provider CPR required by Lakeview.
