Fundraising

Lakeview College of Nursing does fundraising for special projects and scholarships.  Every year businesses are approached by individuals, groups, and agencies to sponsor events, teams, or programs.  Having the students be representatives of Lakeview College of Nursing to raise money to sponsor themselves in walk-a-thon’s or other events may preclude the College from receiving money to sponsor Lakeview College of Nursing events.  Therefore, when students and/or faculty are involved in fundraising events as representatives of Lakeview College of Nursing clearance needs to be obtained from the Dean of Nursing in order not to duplicate fundraising efforts as well as to deplete the resources used by the College for fundraising.  If t-shirts are going to be designed and worn approval of the design by the Coordinator of Recruitment/Marketing must also be obtained.
