HESI A2 Admission Test
The HESI assessment (A2) exam will be required for all applicants.
The HESI A2 exam is offered at Lakeview College of Nursing Danville and Charleston campus but can be taken at any location it is available (there are over 300 sites within the U.S. that offer it). If the HESI is taken through LCN the cost of the test is included in the application fee. However, please be advised that if the HESI A2 exam is taken at another location there may be a proctoring fee charged to you by the alternative site.

To take At LCN :
Contact Karlee Thomen at 217-709-0924 or kthomen@lakeviewcol.edu with the following information - - Name, Testing Location Preference (Danville or Charleston), Test Date, Phone Number and E-mail. Spots are limited.
The assessment will be offered on both the Danville and Charleston Campuses of Lakeview College of Nursing on the following dates. All tests will begin at 9:30 am and conclude no later than 1:30 pm.

To take Off-Site:
1. Please go to https://evolve.elsevier.com/cs/Satellite/StudentHome?Audience=Student
2. Click: "Register for a HESI Exam" under Quick Links on the left.
3. Click:
then click
4. Fill out the information under "New User?" and click "Continue"
5. The next page that comes up is more information for you to fill out
Institution will be "Lakeview College of Nursing", Year of Graduation will be "2013" and
Program type will be "Nursing-BSN"
6. Return to the homepage and click "Reach Testing and Remediation" which drops down.
Click "My Exams & Remediation"
7. Click:
Register For My Exam
8. Enter Lakeview's department ID: 198266 then choose Exam A2-V2 with CT
9. Checkmark: My Evolve profile is the same as it appears on my government issued Photo ID.
10. Click: "Submit" and someone from Prometrics will email you when your exam can be scheduled.
Check your local library, bookstore, or on-line for HESI Admissions Assessment Study Guide.
We strongly recommend scoring at least above a 65% in all categories of the test to be competitive for admission into the BSN program.
