Peer Teaching Program

This is a program for 4th semester student to work with 1st, 2nd, and/or 3rd semester students who may feel overwhelmed by or having difficulty in a specific nursing course(s).  Beginning students may have difficulty in understanding some of the concepts taught in their nursing course(s) or have difficulty in understanding how to take nursing examinations that have prioity type questions.  The Peer Teaching program offers 4th semester students the opportunity to beter understand and integrate previously learned concepts, by teaching those concepts in a one-on-one setting to another student. 

Students who participate in the Peer Teaching Program will be able to incude their participation in this program on their resume and will receive a letter of recommendation from the Dean of Nursing for their portfolio.
