Fire Plan (Danville Campus)

The building is fire resistant and is equipped with a fire alarm system and outside fire exits. Pull boxes, fire
extinguishers and alarm horns are located throughout the building. Fire alarms are tested and fire drills are
planned each semester. In case of fire, pull the alarm, call “911” and close windows and doors. Leave any
door closed which is hot to the touch. Do not turn off lights. Vacate the building quickly; do not panic and
do not use the elevator. See fire regulations and fire escape diagrams. All students – once outside of the
building – are to “meet” in the student parking lot northeast of the College. While moving to the northeast
student parking lot everyone must stay away from police, fire, and/or other emergency personnel activities.
Be careful, also to watch for moving street traffic in addition to vehicles moving within the parking lot.
When the “ALL CLEAR” has been communicated, all occupants are to return to the building.
