The Master of Science in Nursing Degree (MSN) is a two-year college degree that provides specialization for a professional nurse. We are currently working on crafting a MSN program that will best serve the local region.
According to the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, the intention of the master's degree is to build on the baccalaureate degree to enable the student to develop expertise in one area. Specialties can range from running a hospital to providing care for prematurely born babies, from researching the effectiveness of alternative therapies to facing the challenges of social and economic causes of health problems.
