Parking on the Danville and EIU Campuses

Danville-campus students enjoy free parking within the designated student parking lot or the secondary parking lot, both located on the corner of Sheridan Street and Lincoln Park Avenue just northeast of the College.  Additional free parking is available along Logan Avenue or Lincoln Park Avenue.  After 5 p.m. students may park in the reserved spaces directly east and north of the College. Students are not permitted to park in the Provena United Samaritans employee parking lot, the dental office-building parking lot directly east of the College, or the medical office building lot north of the College. Cars parked in these areas will be ticketed and towed away at the owner's expense.

Free parking is also available at the LCN/EIU Lab & Classroom Facility located at 580 W. Lincoln Ave.  Please utilize the lot that is adjacent to the facility.

Parking on the EIU campus requires an EIU parking sticker, except for metered spots. Students who have completed 60 hours of course work or who are 21 years of age are eligible for a reduced rate in their parking tag. Proof of completed credit hours can be obtained through an unofficial transcript from the Director of Enrollment/Registrar or submitting a driver's license indicating your birthdate.
